It’s a snow day for school, and my yoga class is cancelled. So I laid out my mat at home and decided to do a few stretches and poses. I put in a few drops of Eucalyptus Radiata & Bergamot essential oil in my Dew Drop Diffuser, gazing out at the snow, take several deep breaths….
I love early morning aroma yoga to start my day. It is stimulating and invigorating to the body and mind so I am relaxed & focus to prepare for the daily chaos that may come my way.
When I practice aroma yoga, it enhances my physical & mental experience providing a grounding and soothing feeling. Yoga is a go-to for meditation and fitness.
So pick out some essential oil for your diffuser to set the mood for your practice. Now if you are on the go and don’t have a diffuser with you or due to the constraints of the workout studio, you can put a few drops into your palm and breath them in. Here is a Young Living info graph from yoga instructor Tracy Griffiths on how she incorporates Young Living essential oils into her practice. Along with these poses, she recommends Young Living’s Bergamot Oil (for its uplifting scent) mixed with Eucalyptus Radiata or Eucalyptus Globulus oil (for its stimulating and refreshing scent). Her idea of combining these oils with the movements may help you start your day energized.

Essential oils are my therapeutic facilitators.

Eucalyptus Radiata is energizing & refreshing.

Bergamot Essential Oil is uplifting & mood enhancing.

Here I am, supplying essential oils for my yoga instructor Anne @ Flipped Dog Yoga for an aroma yoga class. I taught Essential Oil 101 classes combined with a DIY yoga mat spray during the session. It was a great turnout & we all worked up a sweat! Thanks everyone for an engaging Essential Oil workshop. You can drop me a line and let me know if you would like me to set up a fun workshop at your studio in the near future!
