I arrived at my first Young Living International Grand Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah a few weeks ago, for their 25th anniversary. It was very special for me as I got to celebrate this milestone of Young Living, the World Leader of Essential Oils. Little did I know that on July 19, 2019, these celebrations would include me participating in the Guinness World Records for the most contributions to a lip print mural.
Attendees at the convention were offered the opportunity to participate in this world record attempt. Brimming with excitement, like a kid, I lined up and signed-in with the official record-counting staff to be included in the record. The staff gave me a sample of Bedazzled Savvy Mineral Lipstick by Young Living to apply on my lips and then I proceeded on to kissing the clear sticker to get my lip imprint. Then I had to find a space on the mural and place my lip print contribution on the mural. The mural is called “Clean Kisses” because of our non-toxic lipstick. This lip color looks great on me too! Love it!
Finally at the last day of convention, during the closing evening session, our record and lip print contributions were verified by official Guinness World Records adjudicator, Brittany Dunn. She officially declared that with 10,862 lip prints, we made “The Most Contributions To A Lipstick Mural” in the Guinness World Records on 7/20/2019 at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium.
I can’t help myself but cheer and scream like a little kid! I can proudly tell my kids that their mommy is famous and made it in the Guinness World Records!
